Brooklyn Brewing Denied “The Tonic” by TTB–Replaced by “The Concoction”

We brought you news of Brooklyn Brewing Brewmaster’s Reserve The Tonic in early May….but word out of the Brooklyn Brewery Blog that “The Tonic” and “The Penicillin” as they wanted to originally name it were both “problematic” with the TTB.  Enter the new name “The Concoction” and the new release in mid-June.  From Brooklyn:  “Based off a delightful Scotch-based cocktail called The Penicillin and combining peat smoked malt, minced ginger, lemon juice and wildflower honey, this brand new Concoction is just what the doctor ordered”
